Axon Marine filter on Tjörn

Sandholmens Småbåtsvarv, on the island of Tjörn on the West Coast of Sweden, is the first to install the Axon Marine filter on the island, for its wash station where pleasure boats are lifted.

Axon Marine filter is one of the few filters that meet and exceeds the set targets for removing toxic materials like TBT, Irgarol and heavy metals released from anti-fouling bottom paints when washed. This allows the discharge water to go straight to a nearby recipient without harming the environment.
